Abandoned House

Abandoned House

Searching restlessly for our place
Away from companies demanding unreasonable prices
Away from rows of muzak possessed tea houses
Away from garbage flooded streets
Away from a life defined by consumption
Away from careless twenty-four hours party people
Away from hoards of covid-infected creatures
Away from anxiety filled media waves
Where is our place?
Where is our place?
Where is our place?
In a dense thicket we found an untrodden path
Leading us to an old abandoned house
Left alone in the forest near the seashore
Abandoned house
Abandoned house
Abandoned house
Dazzling together in the blazing winter sun
Feet dangling over the edge of your patio
Enjoying our wine and food hand in hand
Listening to your soothing ancient breath
Abandoned house
Abandoned house
Abandoned house
Walking inside between your shadows
Through collapsed walls, broken glass and rubble
Wild creepers and hidden flowers reaching for the light
Under your fragile roof intimacy is growing
Bursting out of every hole and every crack
Abandoned house
Abandoned house
Abandoned house
Wondering why there were nobody else
Who dreamed of you as their lovers nest
